I love, I love, I love my (MISFIT) Calendar Girl!
Kick off the New Year with the 2011 Ambitious Misfit Pinup Calendar!!!
These 12 beautiful pinup girls are sure to put a smile on your face
each and every day of the year!
Once a year AM Pinup girls have a chance to be in the calendar through
an online contest. A panel of artists selects the girls from the
contest for the calendar except for one lucky spot, the fan
favorite, which is open to public voting. With so many beautiful
ladies in this years contest, all of my judges reported that it was
incredibly difficult.
Congratulations to Mells Bells, Meagan, LynnLee, Jaime, Jessica,
Shana, Jennifer, Rebecca, Claire, Rhonda, Rochelle and Ashley!

Back to Nashville!
Well, Misfits, you twisted my arm! I'm headed back to Music City the
first week of December. My schedule booked up fast and solid, I even
squeezed in a few extra. It's going to be a mighty fine trip! I am
very excited to be shooting this time at the popular east side
residence know as Disgraceland. I am positive these images are going
to raise the bar again with the help of all you lovely ladies!
As always, I will be back again hopefully in spring sometimes, if you
are interested in a session in Nashville please send a message to
contact@ambitiousmisfit.com
VEGAS! In January!
The date has not been set, however, I am tentatively looking at the
3rd weekend in Jan. Interested in a session? Send a message to
contact@ambitiousmisfit.com.
He's the Deadliest Warrior. But this time,
I did the Shooting.
Three-time World Champion Gunslinger and actor, Joey Dillon is now a misfit! (like he wasn't already.) This is easily one of the coolest people I have ever had the honor to photograph. I had first seen Joey on Spike TV's "Deadliest Warrior" showcasing the incredible shooting speed and accuracy that the Jesse James gang dominated the old west with. I caught his live 'One Man Cowboy Stage Show' at the Autry Museum in Los Angeles shortly after. Joey Dillon has talent in spades, and I have no doubt he'll be a household name in no time.
He had a location picked out and we went hoofin' down a closed road in the desert. It was a fantastic photo session to say the least. I got my very own gun spinning show as I clicked away. I have a handful or two of edited images of the very talented Joey Dillon for your viewing on the Ambitious Misfit Facebook Page!
You absolutely must catch one of Dillon's live shows! Bring the whole family, and don't forget the camera! To see where he will be next you can visit the Joey Dillon website, and bookmark it while you are there because you know you'll be back!
Action-Packed July! Read All About it!
It's been a tornado of mischief month after month! July was a real treat beginning with pinup and family sessions on the beautiful Hawaiian Islands. With such wonderful clients and dreamlike backdrop of heavenly beaches, this trip was truly a wonderful gift.
Back for only a week before heading out to Nashville, Tennessee, I was working day and night. I put the final touches on pieces and couldn't resist creating a couple more for a grand total of 33 awesome misfit pieces of art for my first solo art show called "Fast Cars & Frisky Women." Photographic images ranging from the always popular pinups to lonesome desert hotrods were selected from the misfit arsenal. The images were mounted to repurposed/recycled boards that were painted in old sign styles with remnant paints.
The art opening was at Nashville's Kustom Thrills Tattoo's art gallery called Octane. Car/bike show, bands, food, and a freak show to boot, it was obviously a good time. We were all very excited to see the History Channels very own "American Pickers" Mike Wolf show up. What can I say? The man has good taste.
July was very busy for sure. I also booked a misfit record number of client's in Nashville, I am so touched and honored that you like my work. It's hard to say no to such wonderful people in such a wonderful town. I leave more of my heart there every time. I really can't explain how much I truly enjoy being there and spending time with all you 'Nashvegas' folks. So much love for Nashville, I can't wait to see you again!

Yes, It REALLY is Molly Ringwald!
Last fall, I was one very lucky and happy misfit. I got a phone call from The Brat Pack's Molly Ringwald, from movies like Pretty in Pink, Sixteen Candles and The Breakfast Club. She had seen my work and was interested in doing some misfit pinups of her own! It was a great honor to welcome Molly into the world of MISFIT. She is as radiant as she was in those ever popular John Hughes movies. Tomorrow, April 27th Molly's book "Getting the Pretty Back" hits the shelves. In addition she is doing a book tour, check out the schedule and go see one of the latest and greatest Misfits! To purchase her book online visit on Amazon.com!
"I now pronounce you MISFITS!"
